How to Replace the Timing Belt

Release and lift the bonnet. Now locate the timing belt and the timing assembly, which is on the side of the engine. Disconnect the battery cables to protect all remaining electrical components. Next, remove the battery to create more space for the work. Once you have the necessary space, slightly loosen the largest pulley and then release the tensioner to remove the timing belt. Now also remove the main pulley, allowing you to replace the water pump as well.
