In this video we can see a complete guide to the use of an additive not loved by drivers: AdBlue, which has a dedicated tank and has no contact points with the engine, is injected into the exhaust system, and reduces NOX emissions through a chemical reaction that is absolutely not harmful to the engine; it can be purchased at spare parts stores and gas stations, and of course also online, but it is a liquid that is easily counterfeited and if a low-quality version is purchased, there is a risk of damaging the system. It can be stored, as long as it is done correctly. Do not wait until the last minute to top it up, as the car may not start, but we also do not need to fill it to the brim; we can mix different brands together and it is not dangerous to handle; but to top it up, use a funnel dedicated only for this purpose. It does not require much maintenance, but if the system does not work the car goes into recovery mode; on the other hand, the system must consume the additive, otherwise there is something wrong (one liter every 1,000 km). Removing this system is illegal, with hefty fines and the withdrawal of the registration card. Repairing the system can be very expensive, but it should be noted that sometimes it may be enough - in case the additive crystallizes in the tank - to wash it with hot water and it is not necessary to replace it.
