How does a car's air conditioner work?

In this video, we see how the air conditioning system of a vehicle works, using a disassembled engine. The most important part is definitely the compressor, which sucks in gas from one side and pushes it out from the other side, through the rotary motion of the service belt. One issue that may occur is if the electromagnetic clutch that connects the pulley to the compressor does not work properly. Another problem may be caused by the solenoid valve that controls the compressor. The gas is pushed to the external condenser, which cools it down using fans and a filter that removes moisture from the system. Then it goes into the vehicle through high-pressure tubes and into the expansion valve, which lowers the refrigerant pressure, causing a drop in temperature. It passes in front of a radiator that directs the airflow towards the vents. If there is even a small leak in this complex system, the entire system will not work, and recharging the gas will not solve the issue. The leak must be found. Perhaps by injecting nitrogen at high pressure, and then using a specific tool, we will find the leak, which is not easy to locate as it requires disassembling the system and analyzing various pressures.
