With the steps outlined in this new guide for all of you who own a 2023 Volkswagen Jetta, you will be able to replace the battery inside the key in just a few seconds. First, purchase a new CR 2025 battery, then extract the physical emergency key from the side of the cover and remove the cover.

Once the protective rear cover is removed, you will have access to the exhausted battery and can replace it with the new one. Finally, correctly reassemble the rear cover and you are done.
