To reset the trip meter on the Volkswagen Jetta, insert the ignition key into the corresponding lock: once it is turned on, you can press the 0.0/SET button located at the bottom right of the instrument panel. With a single press of this button, you will notice that the trip meter will be completely reset, returning the mileage to zero.

Once the operation is complete, you can turn off and then turn on the ignition again to verify that the reset has occurred.
