In this video, see how to remove the armrest of the centre tunnel cover of a Volkswagen Golf. Position the armrest vertically, then use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing pin. After that, use the spatula to pry at the edge of the central console. Once the pin is removed, detach the armrest from the central tunnel of the car. Unscrew the glove compartment located on the tunnel and remove the metal plate. Fit the new piece onto the tunnel and proceed with the rest of the assembly in reverse order.
