How to Remove the Cooling Radiator from a Volkswagen Golf

In this video, we explain how to remove the cooling radiator from a Volkswagen Golf. Open the bonnet, detach the engine soundproofing panel, then use a suitable socket wrench to remove the plates that secure the radiator at the top. Lift the car on a column lift and loosen the clamp on the water hose. Disconnect the various hoses of the cooling system with pliers. Once free from screws and pipes, you can extract the fan assembly and then the radiator from the engine bay. Prepare to install the new part in the engine bay: fit the cooling fans, clamps, pins, and various pipes. Reattach the radiator's mounting brackets with the associated plates. Tighten the plastics and the front cover securely with a socket wrench. Finally, top up with new coolant and bleed the air from the cooling system.
