How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017
Part: Diesel fuel filter

To carry out this task safely, disconnect the battery cables and lift the rear of your vehicle, as the filter is located underneath. Once you locate the filter, disconnect the connectors that supply the various sensors. Next, remove the pipes that carry the diesel, and have a container ready to collect any fluid that may spill. This way, you can extract the old filter. Reverse the steps described for reassembling the various components.
