Removing Front Headlights from a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014

Remove the headlights from a Volkswagen Passat along with the front bumper. First, lift the bonnet and secure it. Using a socket or battery-powered screwdriver, undo the securing bolts for the front bumper located at the top as shown in the video. Once this is done, undo the bolts on the wheel arch liners and finally remove the bolts at the bottom of the bumper. Carefully pull the bumper away from the vehicle body. Now, undo the securing bolts on the headlight bracket using a socket or battery-powered screwdriver. At the bottom of the headlight, you will find additional bolts; remove them from the metal plates (repeat this for both headlights). Disconnect the bulb holder from the headlight and pull the headlight out of the vehicle body. Fit the new headlight with new bulbs if damaged (ensure they are the correct type and size) and insert the headlight into its housing. Finally, tighten the bolts around the headlight and refit the bumper. Test the lights to ensure they are functioning correctly.
