How to replace the battery of the Volkswagen New Beetle remote control?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery of the Volkswagen New Beetle remote control, an extremely simple and quick operation. To do this we will need a small screwdriver with a flat tip and a replacement battery of type CR1632. First of all, we identify the slot on the back of the remote control, about halfway up, then we insert the screwdriver into it, lever it and separate the two halves. We then open the lower half in turn, remove the old battery and insert the replacement respecting the polarity. At this point, all that remains is to reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
