You will need a small flat-head screwdriver and a replacement CR1632 battery. First, locate the slot on the back of the remote, about halfway up, then insert the screwdriver into it, lever it open, and separate the two halves.

Next, open the lower half, remove the old battery, and insert the replacement, ensuring the correct polarity. Finally, reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
