How to remove the external handle on the Volkswagen Passat?

In this tutorial, we can see how to remove the external handle on the Volkswagen Passat, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we open the door in which we will be working, then we locate the bolt on the inner edge of the door, about halfway up, and loosen it using a Torx T20 key. We then grip the lock cylinder, pull it outwards, and remove it from the housing. At this point, all that remains is to grip the handle and detach it from the door by pulling it towards the rear of the car. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
