Today we will discover the main steps useful for disassembling and replacing the timing belt of the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI. First, we open the hood of the car and start by removing the upper plastic cover and the engine support; we also remove the coolant reservoir, as shown in the video. At this point, we lift the car and remove the right front wheel, also removing the fender liner; we remove the serpentine belt and the crankshaft pulley, in order to later remove the timing cover. Now we proceed with the disassembly and replacement of the timing belt, installing the original one!
