How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

The Service indicator that is displayed on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Tiguan can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, turning the ignition key inside the corresponding block: once the latter has been turned on, it will be possible to navigate through the menu using the button on the right lever of the steering wheel, until finding the "Settings" option. By selecting it with the button below the lever, you can proceed by selecting "Service" and then "Reset": in this way the Service indicator will completely disappear from the instrument panel, which can be turned off to complete the process.
