In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove the front headlights on the Volkswagen Golf, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted, then open the bonnet and, using a flat-head screwdriver or preferably a plastic spatula, unclip both the grille and the lower trim of the headlights.

Next, unscrew the indicated bolts using a 8mm socket, grasp the headlights and pull them out of their housings by pulling them outward. At this point, disconnect the power connectors and fit any replacement parts.
