How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Volkswagen Golf

This video demonstrates how to remove the fuel pump from a Volkswagen Golf. First, disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seats of the car. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap and remove it from its housing. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper, then, using a chisel, unscrew the large securing pin. Finally, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation tubes. Extract the fuel pump assembly.
