How to remove the rear bumper of the Volkswagen Tiguan Mk1

The guide shows how to disassemble the rear bumper of the Volkswagen Tiguan Mk1. The first step is to remove the Torx T25 screws securing the mud flap and remove the wheel arch trim inserts. Remove the plastic fastening clips that are revealed from the previous step and unscrew the remaining bumper fastening screws. Once the license plate is removed, it is possible to unscrew two more screws, previously hidden. Unscrew the fastening screws from the tailgate cavity and release the pressure clips. At this point, the bumper can be completely removed.
