How do you replace the water pump of the Volkswagen Transporter?

In order to replace the water pump of the Volkswagen Transporter, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: on the left side of the engine block, you will be able to locate the water pump pulley, which must be removed by loosening the central nut. At this point, you can detach the timing belt and proceed to unscrew the screws that secure the pump to its housing: the new one can then be inserted by reconnecting the pulley and belt to check that everything works.
