How to check the levels of a Volkswagen Golf IV

In this video we can see how to do a simple maintenance of a Volkswagen Golf IV, checking the fluid levels. We will need a pack of coolant, one for windshield washer fluid, one of engine oil, and one of brake fluid. Let's start by checking the engine oil level: the dipstick is located near the engine compartment opening, let's pull it out, wipe it off, and then put it back in place. Let's pull it out again and check the oil level, which should be above half of the dipstick, between "min" and "max". If the level is lower, we open the filler cap and top it up, then repeat the measurement to check if the level is now correct. Now let's focus on the coolant: let's open the expansion tank cap and fill it to the maximum level: be careful, we should only pour liquid of the same color as the one already present in the tank. Now let's check the brake fluid: if the fluid has dropped, it means the brake pads are worn out; so let's add some fluid, but let's not underestimate the problem. Let's also add windshield washer fluid to its tank, and we have completed our maintenance.

How to Replace the External Wing Mirror on a Ford C MAX
