In this video, you will see what work has been necessary to keep the engine of a Volkswagen Golf running efficiently after it has already covered over 200,000 kilometres. At 112,000 kilometres, a complete timing belt kit and clutch were replaced, and at 140,000, the front shock absorber mounts were replaced. At around 215,000, the rear shock absorbers were replaced, and the timing belt was done again. During this time, three batteries have been changed, regular oil checks have been carried out, and coolant levels monitored: the turbocharger is still the original one.
