Today we will explain how to independently reset the oil light on a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. We remind you that before resetting the light, it is necessary to perform the maintenance for which the light has come on, as only resetting it will not solve the problem and could cause further issues such as engine damage in more severe cases.

To reset the oil light, we need to turn on the instrument panel and then press the left button on the instrument panel for a few seconds while keeping the brake pedal pressed. Once the reset is done, restart the vehicle.
