The replacement of the air filter that feeds the injection system of the Volkswagen Gol is one of the operations included in the maintenance service to be carried out periodically, but if we find ourselves driving on particularly dusty roads, it is good practice to anticipate this operation. To carry out the replacement, we open the hood of the engine compartment, unscrew the seven screws of the filter box cover with a cross-head screwdriver and remove it, remove the old filter and clean the inside with a vacuum cleaner. Insert a new filter element, close the cover and secure it with its screws.
