Below we will see the instructions necessary for performing the routine maintenance on the Volkswagen Gol 1.6, replacing the engine oil and oil filter. First, we lift the car and begin to unscrew the oil drain plug located under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes. Then, we use the appropriate tool to unscrew the oil filter, replacing the cartridge with a new one, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the fill cap and top off the oil, filling it up to the appropriate level.
