How do you replace the EGR valve of the Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the EGR valve installed on board the Volkswagen Golf, you will need to open the hood so that you can access the components inside the engine compartment: this way you will be able to locate the exhaust manifold at the rear of the engine block itself. Here you will find the valve that needs to be removed from its seat by loosening the screws and disconnecting all the connectors; at this point you will need to place the new valve in its seat so that it can be secured with the screws and connect the connectors, checking for correct operation.
