How to Remove the Wheel Bearing on VW Golf 5

In this video, see how to remove the wheel bearing along with all its components on a Volkswagen Golf. Position your car on a column lift, loosen the bolts with a socket wrench, and raise it to a comfortable height for work. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, then begin unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper, detaching it from the bracket. Use a socket wrench to loosen the caliper bolt. Now remove the caliper bracket and unscrew the bolts on the brake disc. Pull the disc towards you with your hands to slide it off the wheel hub. Completely remove the wheel hub from the car arm and extract the worn bearing. Install the brake disc with all its bolts, tighten the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all bolts are tightened properly. Before mounting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the bolt. Now mount the wheel onto the wheel hub and screw in all the bolts.
