The main cause of malfunction of the key is the low battery. This statement is also valid for Volkswagen Beetle vehicles. Today we will explain how to replace the key/remote battery independently using a flat-head screwdriver and a CR2032 battery. The first step is to lift the key as if we were going to use it. The second step is to insert the screwdriver into the internal part of the remote control in order to open the bottom part. The third step is to replace the battery. The fourth step is to close the remote control.
