How to disassemble the external rearview mirror in the Volkswagen Jetta?

In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the external rearview mirror in the Volkswagen Jetta, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we open the door in which we will be working, then, using preferably a plastic spatula, we unhook the window lift console, the upper molding and the cap located below the handle. We then unscrew all the screws that have just been released, separate the panel from the door and unscrew the fixing bolts of the mirror. To mount the replacement, just follow the reverse procedure.
