How to replace the air filter of the Volkswagen Golf 7

Today we will explain how to replace the air filter of the Volkswagen Golf 7 independently. Turn off the car, pull the handbrake and the hood release lever; position yourself in front of the hood to open it. Using a socket wrench with a 25mm Torx insert, unscrew the screws around the filter box cover; after removing the screws, lift the flange cover to remove the filter. Clean the box and insert the new filter. Screw the screws onto the box to secure the cover closure. Close the front hood and start the vehicle to check that the filter has been inserted correctly.
