How to Replace the Key Fob Battery of a VW Golf

Learn how to open and replace the battery of the key fob for a Volkswagen Golf: take your remote and press the release button of the metal key; once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to lever between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Leverage until the covers separate, then remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Finally, join the two covers and check the proper functioning of the remote by pressing the buttons.
