If after starting the engine, the red warning light with the battery symbol remains on on the instrument panel display, it means that the alternator is no longer charging and therefore needs to be replaced (you can also opt for a regenerated one rather that new); disassembly is very simple to carry out given the position of the alternator itself which is located in the upper left part of the engine, looking at it from the front; it is therefore advisable to disconnect the battery, loosen the auxiliary belt tensioner to free the pulley, disconnect the cables and proceed with the disassembly of the alternator fixing pins; we will proceed backwards to install the new one.
