How to reset the "Service" indicator on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

To reset the "Service" light on a Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Using the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel, navigate to the menu of the onboard computer. Scroll until you find the section dedicated to maintenance or service intervals.
