How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Sharan?

The Service warning light that appears on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Sharan can be reset by holding down the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the instrument panel while the vehicle is turned off. When the instrument panel is turned on, a message will appear asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval. By selecting "Yes" using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, you can reset the maintenance interval. You can also verify that the Service warning light has been completely reset by turning off and on the display again.
