How to disassemble the door panel of the Volkswagen Golf

Today we will explain how to remove the door panel of a Volkswagen Golf model 2. We begin the removal of the panel by opening the front right door and proceed with the removal of all plastic parts, unfastening everything using a flat-tip screwdriver or simply pulling with some force. We then remove the plastics around the door handle and then unscrew the door lock knob. Using a removal tool, we unfasten the windshield wiper handle and unscrew the screw at the back. We remove the plastic of the closing handle and unscrew the screws at the back with a Phillips screwdriver. Using the Phillips screwdriver, we unscrew the screws on the sides of the door, once the panel is removed we have access to the door mechanisms.
