How to carry out maintenance on Volkswagen New Beetle? This video explains how to replace the battery: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood; we release the locking lever of the same, then, we put in safety. Once the engine compartment is open: we will find the battery on the right; disassemble the locking pins of the battery terminals, then, remove it from the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). We close the bonnet at the end of the maintenance.
