How to replace the crankshaft RPM sensor on a Volkswagen Polo? Follow this procedure: lift the front bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Locate the crankshaft RPM sensor, and using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts (if present next to the valve). Disconnect the component from the engine housing. Compare the worn part with the new one, install the new part with the respective securing bolts, and reconnect the crankshaft RPM sensor. Check the maintenance performed and the correct operation of the component.
