How do you reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

From the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Passat, it will be possible to completely eliminate the Service light that appears on the instrument panel by pressing and holding the button located at the bottom right of the cluster while it is turned off. While continuing to hold the button, you can insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot. This will turn on the instrument cluster, and at that point, you can release the button and turn it clockwise. At this point, you will notice that the light has completely disappeared, and the cluster can be turned off.
