How to replace the battery in the Volkswagen remote control.

When the remote control of a Volkswagen or Skoda vehicle stops working, the main possible causes are a dead remote battery or the need for the remote to be reprogrammed due to the vehicle's battery being replaced. To replace the battery in both remotes of the car, we need to lift the metal key and remove the remote cover using a flathead screwdriver. We then remove the old battery and insert the new one, which will be a CR 2025 model. After inserting the new battery, we close the remote cover and test its functionality.
