Let's see how to quickly and easily replace the battery of the Volkswagen Golf key/remote with just a small flathead screwdriver, avoiding the need to go to a service center. Taking the aforementioned key, we will press with our hands to remove the lower back cover, immediately noticing the battery that needs to be replaced.

Now, using the previously mentioned screwdriver, we will leverage the battery, lifting it out of its housing. We insert the new battery and perform a test to check its functionality.

Once that’s done, we can close everything back up.
