How do you reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

From the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Tiguan, it is possible to completely turn off the Service light by turning the ignition key in the corresponding switch to power on the instrument cluster. At this point, you will need to navigate through the menu on the display using the directional arrows located on the right side of the steering wheel: then you should select the maintenance option and then the option to perform the reset. When the confirmation message appears asking if you really want to perform the reset, you should select "Yes" so that the Service light goes away.
