To locate the fuse boxes on a Volkswagen Passat, you need to identify three main points. The first box is located on the driver's side, inside the cabin, on the edge of the dashboard near the door; by removing the plastic cover, you access the fuses that protect internal lights, wipers, and minor electrical systems. The second box is on the passenger side, also on the edge of the dashboard, accessible by removing the side cover, with fuses for other internal uses. The third box is located in the engine compartment, on the left side near the battery; by opening the cover, you find the main fuses and relays that protect the ABS, engine control unit, pumps, and headlights.
