How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf 7?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

You can completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Golf 7 by holding down the 0.0 button located at the centre of the instrument cluster while the ignition is off. While continuing to hold the button, turn the key in the ignition to switch on the instrument cluster: releasing the button will display a message asking if you really want to reset the maintenance and oil light. Press the OK button located on the stalk to the right of the steering wheel or on its right spoke to clear the light from the display.
