Today, we will explain how to start the reset procedure for the diesel particulate filter on a Volkswagen Transporter T6 after the warning light has illuminated. To begin the reset procedure, turn on the ignition; press the brake pedal and then press the button for the high beam headlights.

Wait for the headlights to stop flashing before restarting the ignition. If it is not possible to regenerate it automatically, the filter may need to be replaced.
