How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Golf 7?

From the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Golf 7, you can completely clear the Service light displayed by pressing and holding the 0.0 button located at the centre of the instrument panel while it is off. While continuing to hold the button, turn the key in the ignition switch to turn on the display. Releasing the button will show a message asking if you really want to reset the maintenance light. Press the OK button located on the stalk to the right of the steering wheel or on its right spoke to completely reset the indication.
