How to Set the Clock on a Volkswagen Passat and Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023

This guide shows how to set the clock on a Volkswagen Passat/Jetta with the display in the dashboard and controls on the steering wheel (like the 2017 model in the video). Turn on the ignition, press the "ok/view" button located at the centre of the right switch. Use the left/right arrows on the same switch to navigate through the menu until you find the "settings" option. With the down arrow, scroll through the information until you find "clock" (or "set time"). Press "ok" to enter and use the up/down arrows to adjust the hours and minutes. Confirm by pressing "ok" again. In models with a large screen, the clock is set automatically via GPS and does not require manual adjustment. If the time is incorrect, check in the "settings" that the time zone is correct.
