Today, you will learn how to open the door of the 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan when the remote battery is dead. To perform this simple operation, you need to remove the cover of the lock on the handle. Lift the handle as if to open the vehicle and using the metal key from the remote, lift the side cover. Once the cover is removed, you can insert the metal key into the lock and turn it to unlock the door. Once inside the vehicle, insert the key into the ignition barrel to start the vehicle; if you do not have the ignition barrel because the vehicle has automatic ignition, you will need to place the remote as close to the ignition barrel as possible so that the vehicle can recognise the key code and start.
