This guide explains how to remove and install the external handle on the door of a Volkswagen Golf 5. Insert a suitable screwdriver into the gap on the door (side panel) and remove the cover of the handle located to the right. Extract the lock from the door; pull the handle out from the car's body (compare it with the new handle). Insert the new handle with the lock and its cover into the door panel (tighten the screws). Finally, test the correct installation and functionality by operating it manually.
