How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Jetta?

You can completely eliminate the Service light indicated on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Jetta by holding down the 0.0 button located on the right side of the display while it is off: continue to hold this button while inserting the ignition key into the lock and turning it to switch on the dashboard. Once activated, you can release the button on the right to press the one on the left: this will reset the light, and the dashboard can be turned off by removing the key.
