First, ensure that the engine is completely cold for safety, then open the bonnet, locate the thermostat housing pipe and disconnect it to allow all the coolant in the system to drain out. Next, unscrew the two securing bolts with a 10mm spanner, remove the old thermostat, and insert the replacement along with a new gasket. At this point, all that remains is to reassemble everything and add the necessary amount of coolant to reach the ideal level.
