How do you replace the spark plugs of a Volkswagen Up? In this video, we will detail how to proceed. Pull the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet; secure it. Remove the soundproofing panel from the engine, unscrew the securing bolts of the coils with a socket wrench (bolts on the sides), take the coil by hand and twist it to extract it from the cylinder head. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs and remove them from the cylinder head; take the new spark plug and insert it into the cylinder head with the socket wrench. Refit the plastic cylinder head cover.
