How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Jetta?

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018
Part: Service warning light

From the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Jetta, you can clear the Service light by pressing and holding the 0.0 button located in the lower central area of the instrument cluster for a few seconds. At the same time, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to power on the instrument cluster. When prompted if you really want to reset the light, you can release the 0.0 button: this will indicate that the reset has been successfully completed and the display can be turned off.
