Next, you will learn how to access the external fuse box of the Volkswagen Passat, along with the diagram and layout of the fuses. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and locate the fuse box; it is found at the top right of the engine bay, next to the battery, by removing the plastic cover to access it. Along with the fuses, you will also find the main relays; the vehicle's manual contains tables with all the data for the fuses, including the codes and amperages. Replace the fuses while respecting the ampere rating.
